For over 12 years, she has taught Geography across GCSE, A Level, and the IB Diploma, including IB Environmental Systems and Societies. A former IBDP coordinator and currently a Head of Geography, Jocelyn has worked in leading UK and international independent schools, guided students through academic pressure, and supported their personal development as a boarding house parent and study skills coach. Educated at the University of Birmingham for her first degree in geography and French, Jocelyn went on to study at the University of Buckingham for both her PGCE teaching qualification and more recently to study for a Master’s in Education at Buckingham. Jocelyn is a former IBDP Coordinator and currently a Head of Geography at a leading independent school in Portugal. She has an Enhanced DBS checked from the UK and Child Protection checks from Portugal.

Jocelyn is an IB examiner and passionate educator, so she knows exactly what high-performing academic work looks like and how to help students reach it through smart, sustainable strategies. She’s been tutoring pupils in schools and out of school for 10 years.

But academic strength is only part of the story.

She’s a qualified Mountain Leader, an outdoor lover, and a big believer in the power of movement to reset the mind. Strength and fitness are a personal passion. She has competed in fitness events and pushed limits through ultra marathons, so she knows first-hand how discipline, mindset, and resilience translate from sport to study. That’s why she brings a holistic approach to tutoring, combining academic structure with wellbeing, motivation, and performance coaching.

Having lived and taught internationally, she understands the challenges students face, and how to help them meet those challenges with clarity and confidence.

Whether you’re a parent looking for expert support, or a student ready to take ownership of your GCSE or IB or exam journey, she’s here to help you or your son/daughter focus, grow, and Study Strong.
